In the extraterritorial space of the dark forest, perception should become transparent in its forms and structures. Transparency is related to light. With it’s captivating appeal, NEON invites the viewer to engage in the presence of time and space. A 9 meter high column of light towers above the field of perception. The forest serves as a medium and opens the room. According to Goethe, clearing is a process of perception in which one can notice, observe and feel the deeds of light. Only through light does time and space become visible.
